(known as Fair Trade or Direct Trade) By ethical chocolate makers that partner with the farmers then transform cocoa beans with few ingredients with integrity and love to capture chocolates true essence in your dark chocolate bar.

My mission though Exotic Chocolate Tasting is to bring awareness of the people that created the chocolate, the chocolate health benefits, and to demonstrate how to mindfully savor every morsel for your well being in a guided tasting experience.

At the HPA, we are dedicated to making sure that the chocolate we enjoy here was not made at the expense of a child’s well being anywhere else. That’s why we’re committed to making sure that all chocolate used by Warner Brothers for Harry Potter merchandise is Fair Trade, and thus consistent with Warner Brothers’ own ethical sourcing guidelines. We’re giving Warner Brothers a deadline. The time for discussion, for yes men and form letters has long since past. Warner Brothers has until 11:59:59 PM EST on December 31st, 2011 to either prove that their chocolate is Fair Trade and consistent with their own ethical sourcing guidelines or to make significant steps toward making it so.

The Farmer gets 45% of all sales fram each chocolate bar which is about $2 from a $4.50 bar. The Kuapa Ko-op creates a better life for farmers through fair trade by helping them get more money to rebuild their schools and get toilets plus many more necessities. There are 45,000 Fair Trade Farmers in Ghana so any farmer can join after reading their constitution and set of laws. Hershey’s pays next to nothing……..
